Charles Post, Guest Editor, Volume One
Charles is an ecologist and storyteller inspired by the confluence of society and wild landscapes.
With nearly a decade of experience studying at U.C. Berkeley while earning his Bachelor of Science and Master's degree in ecology, Charles applies his passion to creative projects that lean on the communicative power of film, journalism and photography to inspire our next generation of stewards. Intrigued by society's relationship with our rapidly changing natural environments, Charles draws inspiration from this simple notion: how can we expect others to care about a species, river or watershed if they don't even know it exists? Through storytelling, Charles has found a vehicle to expose and illuminate narratives bound to the future of landscapes and waters worth fighting for.
We are incredibly blessed to have Charles join our team to help build this narrative, with the pursuit of restoring the perception of hunting in our modern society. Charles is a former vegetarian, who recognized the devastation of the land and wildlife when both hunting and conservation don't coexist. He brings an insight to the table that can resonate and empathize with both hunters and non-hunters alike, helping to soften the conversation and change the hearts and minds of those who are open to having the conversation.
Here's to Charles.
